2 Connecting Jupyter notebook to Remote server.exe from the Toolbox App web page. In the Big Data Tools window, right-click any of the configured servers, folder, or note and select Create Note from the context menu or press Alt+Insert. DataSpell is a new IDE by JetBrains designed specifically for those. Do one of the following: From the main menu, select Git Clone. You can create a new notebook on the target server (remote notebook) or in the DataSpell workspace (local notebook).Create a remote notebook. DataSpell lets you attach Git repositories to the workspace as directories. Is there a way to get back the old behavior? It was much more convenient. DataSpell allows using Git to track changes in Jupyter notebooks and interact with remote repositories. Now after changing the it is only recognized after I restart VS Code. Im wondering if its possible to configure a remote (ssh) Python interpreter with Dataspell. In most cases, it is a conda environment based on your Anaconda installation. When you attach a directory to the workspace or open a project, the IDE creates a virtual environment for you. I used to be able to simply comment out the remote and local Jupyter that I was not using and un-comment the one that I wanted to use and after closing the VS Code Python notebook pane everything would switch just fine. Apologies for posting under the P圜harm topic as there doesnt appear to be one for DataSpell. With DataSpell, you can also configure interpreters to execute your notebooks on remote managed Jupyter servers by using SSH, or WSL (only for Windows). After one of the recent updates, I can no longer change the remote Jupyter server without restarting VS Code.
